    Nailed it!

  2. There’s definitely something about office supply stores, man. If I go into Staples for anything…well, I’ll be in there quite a while. I just love looking through their pens and the different sorts of stamps they have. And the stationery! Yea…

I really wish there was something of an OLD office supply store near me. Somewhere that may STILL have old typewriter ribbons and stuff like that for sale. Will have to look it up.

Great theme. I agree, it’s possibilities that are stimulated by the different kinds of paper, the pens, even the binders and folders. I always feel more creative after browsing in such a store.

We also love office supply stores. Even more dangerous and interesting is the local art supply store that caters to the Art Institute. So many luscious options…we never leave without a few more pens and blank pads.

  5. Did you ever think Sotto Voce’s love of the letterbanger would become mainstream again?

I thought I was the only person who liked visiting and browsing office supply stores. I especially liked the old ones and the drafting supply stores back in PA.

Then there are hobby stores, as you mention, and old and new book stores.

For Mrs Sotto Voce, along with office supplies I also adore hardware stores. I think it is appeals to my elusive goal of finding a little object that will realign a little part of my world for the better.
