A few years ago I settled on a medium size Jansoprt back pack. It was sufficient for business travel and I could still pack a few casual clothes and ham radio gear and a camera. If I travelled for more than a week at a time I would just hit a laundry as the pack is sufficient for a week and a week end.
A bit later I bought the same size bag with one added compartment: a notebook PC pouch. Now I use that same bag and carry a Skyriter.
Sounds like a cavernous bag! I don’t know much about ham radio; I always picture it as big desktop sets. I didn’t know they came in backpack-able sizes too. Very cool!
