The people who felt moved to complain mostly cited the DRM thing, IIRC. And the need for extra steps to import other formats like PDF. Those were the biggies, I think.
The Kindle, like every shiny new thing, is like the moon — some people just feel compelled to howl at it, pray to it, or blame stuff on it. Whaddya gonna do.
Oh, and add “hot-swappable” to the list. The word is “removable.” “Hot-swapping” sounds like something they used to do in the brothels of 1920s Berlin.

New to my list: “switch it up.” Just this morning I bumped into it twice, and one of them was in reference to what people put on their yogurt. To me, that’s pretty much the sign that it’s time to take that old hound out back for one last walk.
